i'm so excited to share that i was accepted to my dream PA program! i hope that sharing my stats was helpful (or made you feel better, haha). i know how much of a struggle the application process can be, especially if you're a non-traditional applicant or if your college didn't have a specific PA track. feel free to message me anytime and use me as a resource! i check instagram the most, so tha...
unboxing my virtual college graduation gear

does it still count as graduation if it's virtual? a question i ask myself everyday lmao. i'm currently have an existential crisis as my last week of being a college student comes to a close. its so weird because my whole identity revolved around being a student ever since i was five years old, and now i'm just... an adult. although! i will be a student again in a year if i am accepted to PA sc...

this is my last vlog that i have from my study abroad experience. it was pretty bittersweet to edit this, but really fun to look back on the trip! since this was our last trip, i think i was a little sick of vlogging because the footage is all over the place. i tried to make it cohesive so hopefully its not too confusing to watch. thanks so much for watching and i'll see you in the next one! - ...

hi everyone its been a while! summer has kicked in and because i have some free time, i figured i would edit some videos. lol i can't believe i'm still uploading abroad videos, but this is my second to last one. my friends that i made from my core course in DIS went on a short weekend trip to berlin. we took the plane there and a bus back (only eight hours!!!). it was a lot of fun to edit this ...

i hope you enjoy crack vlogs, because that is what this is lol. it was so nice to visit my college friends that i haven't seen (since i was abroad) since last summer! this video was uploaded late (i filmed the footage in december/january) because i've been busy with school and i thought the other videos i wanted to share with you guys were more "time sensitive." this vlog is mostly for us to la...
Hungary Vlog: Baths Aren't the Only Thing Budapest Has!

The last installment for our long study break! We went on a bus from Vienna to Budapest (which only took like 2 hours or so), before flying back to Copenhagen. I was pretty sick during this last trip, which you could probably tell from my annoying coughs and gross sounding voice, so I didn't vlog as much. I hope you still enjoy it though! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ...
Europe Study Abroad Try-On Clothing Haul

Most likely my last segment on my studying abroad experience! I bought a lot more other things than clothes, but if I had included it all, I think this video would have been too long... Anyway! It's been a while since I've done a clothing haul, especially a try on one. I know a lot of these pieces are very simple and common-place, but I hope you enjoyed watching the video as much as I enjoyed f...

Ugh I don't know what was up with the lighting, but I apologize that it keeps changing through the video. Anyway! Vienna Vlog: Breathing the Same Air as Mozart Did

Part two of our long study tour break trip. Following Prague, we paid a visit to Vienna! The museums in Vienna were really cool, especially the music one. I feel like we rushed through it because it was late and we were tired, but I wish I had appreciated it more. There also wasn't very many people because it was Halloween and it was night time so most people would be out partying lol. We also ...

SWAPPING Clothes on Depop: Worth it?
What a shithole, i would recommend trying to rent a single-bedroom/studio apartment cheap without a deposit, IDK what the price is for that room, but having privacy is important for mental health and exams. I live and study in Denmark, I got a 1-bedroom apartment with a giant living area is around 75 m2 with a pretty big balcony as well. I pay around 3800 DKK a month and I have to travel around 1 hour for the university but is worth it for sure. I usually only go once a week anyway since most of the classes are on teams.
i love stockholm
Will you please share list of universities you have applied to
Love your video it was so calming to watch. I just got invited to Stylekorean try it program. Do you know if it says anywhere how long you get to try them before doing a review. I have to do a TikTok challenge and 6 reviews on their app. I would appreciate any information you can help me with. Thank you.
i think back when i reviewed this, it was 30 days! but the policies may have changed over the years :D good luck and i look forward to your review
Why you don't upload more volgs 😭
i have a bunch over my study abroad in my channel if you want to check those out heh~
What was it like exchanging money and understanding costs there? How did you adjust or do you have any tips?
i always like to exchange before i go, as the conversion prices are so high in the country you go. it wasn't hard to adjust for me, as i was surrounded by americans throughout the program. my biggest tip is to go out of your comfort zone and talk to people, as the experience is so much more memorable when you have good friends to share it with! additionally, don't be afraid to do things by yourself (ie commute, go to cafes to study, etc)
If I could comment on the racism (also as an Asian American), I think we have to consider the intent behind their remarks before considering it as aggressive/intentional racism. In America, if someone shouts ni hao or konnichiwa at you, half the times they're doing it to tease you or make fun of you for being Asian. If someone goes up to you and says "wow I really like [asian] girls," they're being sleazy, disgusting, and have yellow fever. I haven't gone to Denmark yet (although, I am going there for this semester through DIS!), but I went to Germany and have experienced similar things to what you mentioned in the video. I was stuck on the line for a bar once and these semi-drunk guys were throwing ni hao and konnichiwa at me. I didn't really have the space to move away, so I just told them I'm actually korean. Then they started asking me "oh then how do I say hello in korean?" So their intent didn't seem to be of malice or anything more than actual curiosity, simply because they just don't see Asian people often. Of course, I understand that it can still be super off putting and uncomfortable, but just putting out my thoughts because I don't think they were being inherently racist. Also, I know that the reverse also happens in east Asian countries (Japan, Korea, assumably China?). I once read a (white) blogger's post on how they visited Korea and all the Koreans would go up to them, touch their hair, and comment on how white they were. I assume they weren't trying to be malicious, although to others it certainly may seem that way. This kind of racism seems to stem from lack of familiarity, rather than willful ignorance or cruelty. I'm not sure if this justifies their (the koreans', danes', and germans') behavior, but what I can tell you is that it's definitely a different kind of racism from the racism you encounter in America.
thanks for this
LOVE your video. It's so creative and real. I just got back from Copenhagen, and watching this makes me happy.
I’m a black dude with ok gpa will follow ur journey

it’s so inspiring to have seen your journey from undergrad to now finally PA school!! keep up the awesome videos ❤️
thanks slipy! have fun in med school :))
Headed to Denmark with DIS this month!
so exciting! have fun!!
Hey, can you make a video on how an international student do PA. I'm from India & I dream to work in US. But there's little to no information about this. :( please help me
hey! i'm so sorry, i have no idea what the requirements are for international students as i am a domestic student. i think it may be easier if you attend an undergrad institution in the US as the pre-requisites will transfer in a smoother manner! but that's the only advice i have :(
I definitely am worried about the MMI portion 🥲 but thanks so much for sharing! I will definitely be using some of these tips when I start interviewing this month💓
good luck with your interviews!
omg I also had a question that I thought was soo weird & skipped it and then my interviewers asked me it 🙃 excited to watch more PA content 🥳

Love the PA content!! So helpful :)
teehee thanks :))) waiting for your next blog post!!
Congratulations!! 🍾 I am also starting at USC in august! Did you already start getting the list of stuff you need? 😅
thank you!! iowa hasn't specified yet haha, but we got some recommendations about which stethoscopes we need :)
@@AliceTsui ooo nice! I have a long list of stuff I have to buy/do/study! 😭
Congratulations!! I applied this past cycle as well! 🥳🎉
back at you!! excited for us to become providers :)
Do you have any advice for people with lower GRE scores? Can experience in the field make up for it
i definitely believe that if your application has other strengths, whether it be pce hours or gpa, it can definitely outweigh a lower gre score. i think the general consensus is to shoot for 300 or above, but you may get a better idea of what score you need if your program has averages from previous applicants :)
Congrats Alice!!! 💕
thank u ☺️
How was the grinnel experience?
hey niyah, sorry for the late reply! i really loved my experience at grinnell because the community is super tight knit and i was able to find so many like-minded people that i became great friends with. due to small class sizes, you can also form close relationships with the profs which makes it easier to ask questions in class, find research opportunities, and request letters of recommendation for grad school/jobs. let me know if you have any more specific questions ^^
@@AliceTsui no worries, thank you for responding. I’m really interested in grinnel, but how’s the social life...like is there a lot to do since it’s in Iowa?
@@niyah1229 i was definitely worried about that too when i first came to grinnell. the town is super small so there isn't really anything outside of campus to do unless you have a car and want to drive 1/1.5 hours to the bigger cities. but grinnell has a lot of on-campus activities! there's free movies every week, live music events (that wasn't really my thing so idk much about that), and parties sponsored by different organizations and clubs around campus! i would recommend checking out the grinnell instagram, as current students are posting a lot of q&a's on the stories!
I just watched ur vdo before my by ecom products are arrived and hopefully they could help me with my redness skin on my cheeks thanks 😘😘😘
yessss, good luck <3
You girls are so funny!
Congrats!!! I loved your video and I'll actually be attending Grinnell in the fall🙂
that's so exciting! i know you'll have a great time there :D
Congratulations 🎉
thank you!!
Hey Alice! I'm Ryan Little. Loved your unboxing, and it was really cool to hear my music in your video :)
aw, thank you! i love your music :D
Congrats! Grinnell is my dream school!!
i'm sure you'll get in :)
This was a great video! I am considering going to Denmark with DIS as well and I am glad that you talked about your race experience there. I am a black guy so I am sort of concerned about dealing with race in a very white space. I am so sorry that those unfortunate events happened to you there though. Hopefully, if I end up going, I will have a different experience and nothing of that sort will happen so blatantly.
thank you for watching! i'm sure you will have a great experience in denmark :)
this was a very helpful video, thank you! I'm considering studying abroad in denmark. I'm concerned about racist remarks (I am also asian) but I suppose it is a cultural difference due to the fact that europeans just aren't really exposed to asian people other than tourists. so I'm thankful u mentioned that! I hope I get accepted to study there - it sounds like a wonderful place :0
it was a very fun and beautiful place! the racist comments weren't an everyday thing, and it only happened when i was with groups of my friends who were also asian. but with the whole coronavirus thing, i hope it doesn't get worse. i hope you get accepted <3
I very sorry that you feel Denmark is racist , that is certainly not my opinion living in Denmark, I have friends and collages who are Asian or dark skinned, and they don't feel Denmark is racists being Asian in Denmark is actually very common, we have lots of adopted Koreans, and lots of Vietnamese refugees , plus Chinese migrants, many migrants from India and Pakistan, so we know not all Asians are Chinese -not everybody in Denmark are white around 86% are of Danish origin (adopted counts as Danish)-60% of migrants are non western the majority of danes don't care about the color of skin, and don't mind if their children marry anyone who isn't white, it's quite common-I have traveled in China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey plus more, and find that they are much more racist actually and only marry their own , just like +90% of non western migrants in Denmark only marry people from their country of origin-or their parents country of origin- there is one group though that danes aren't that happy about to be earnest and that is muslims, due to to much crime, unemployment, not respecting women, forced marrying ect. Certainly there are lot of muslim who are very good citizens , there are unfortunately a number of problems-Islam is not a race-there are lots of white muslims, it's a religion, a Culture and also a law system.
I'm chubby+(not running to catch) and I have never been robbed or even felt that I could be mugged in th Nordics. i'm so sorry you had to go the process.

Is the double rooms only for americans? and how many people in total share the bathroom? I have just applied for Nimbus as a dane.
hi! i think the double rooms are just for americans, as all the danes i lived with had their own bathroom. in our apartment, us five americans shared a bathroom while the three danes shared their bathroom. i think it depends on how many people live in your apartment
@@AliceTsui Okay, so the tree danish girls had individual rooms? and thank you!
@@TheMykatrine yup! as far as i know, all the danes seemed to have their own rooms in nimbus
I actually recently bought the bubble cleanser but I hadn't used it yet. Now that i watched your review ill use it 😄
